Revised Game schedule and results (week 4)

Naciones Unidas and All Stars remain undeated after four weeks of play. Last night's match-up between Mexico and All Stars was one of the closest games ever played in the league. The game went into overtime after Mexico tied the game with 2 seconds remaining on the clock. Mexico had a chance to either tie the game with a two-point basket or win it with a three-pointer. All Stars played superb defense in causing a turnover to win the game. The game was a championship caliber game with all the nail-biting and stress-production anxiety that it deserved. That's basketball at its best!

The most surprising result to date is Las Americas. This team is well coached and has several outstanding ball players. The team brings a height advantage to almost every game and is aggressive in forcing turnovers when playing one-to-one half-court presses. The result to date is no indication of the strenght of this team. Let's not forget that they have lost some very close games by scores of two baskets or less. They are not to be taken lightly. It's just a matter of time before they begin to register positive results in the win column. As for Pasabien, they are a developing team. They have added a several players with good ball-handling skills and good basketball sense. The experience in playing in the league will surely show a maturity down the line.

Team results after four weeks of play:

Naciones Unidas - 4 wins
All Stars - 4 wins
Mexico - 2 wins
Chinique - 2 wins
Las Americas - 0 wins
Pasabien - 0 wins
