Hello everybody. Here's more information for Saturday's All Star game. Team 1 will be coached by Raul (Naciones Unidas's coach) and assisted by Michael (Las Americas's coach). Team 2 will be coached by Edgar (Mexico's coach) and assisted by Daniel (Pasabien's Coach). As usual, Bruno will be assisting the League with helping to organize the individual Free Throw and 3-Point Constests and assisting with the overall organization for League activities. The winners for the Free Throw and 3-Point Contests will each receive a $25.00 prize. Here's what Saturday's schedule is looking like:
7:00 p.m. Doors open
7:10 p.m. Free Throw Contest
7:40 p.m. 3-Point Contest
8:00 p.m. All Star Game
Players competing in the Free Throw and 3-Point Contests are asked to wear their team uniform during the contest. The League has secured two different sets of jerseys to use during the All Star game.
In addition to the player competitions, fans will be able to compete for some prizes. The fan competition will occur during an extended 20-minute half-time period. This means that while the All Star players are getting a breather, the fans can participate in some activities such as 3-point shooting contest of their own and be able to walk away with prizes such as movie passes or a basketball.
The charge for admission to Saturday's game will be $1.00 for adults and $3.00 for families. League players enter for free. All proceeds will go toward League expenses in support of League activities.
