Naciones Unidas and Mexico in the Championship Game

What an exciting evening of basketball last night! Fast-paced, physical, nail-biting, and entertaining all in one! Women basketball at its best!! The four teams that advanced to the play-offs are so well balanced and strong that any one team could defeat any of the other teams on any given night. It really comes down to other variables other than player skills. The quality of coaching, the discipline of team practice, player familiarity with each other, and having a team roster free of injured players are all important elements in becoming a winning team. Next week is the final game of the 2009 spring season. All Stars and Las Americas will face each other to determine the third place finisher. Naciones Unidas and Mexico will do battle for first and second place.
